For a belt drive system, the motor torque required during constant velocity is simply the total axial force (Fa) on the belt multiplied by the radius (r1) of the drive pulley. Notice that the efficiency (η) of the belt drive system is included in the torque equation.
A: Your mower has two belts. Both play a role in making the blades turn. The “Deck Belt” goes around the pulleys right above the blades on the deck and then to a double pulley. The “Drive Belt” on your mower goes from the transmission, around an Idler pulley then over to the double pulley I mentioned before.
Today, most serpentine belts are expected to last anywhere from 60,000 to 100,000 miles. Some belts can last significantly longer than this, while others give out before 60,000 miles. Make sure to check your owner`s manual to find out the recommended belt replacement time frame.

My belt came off and I need to know how to put it back on?
ANSWER : There should be 4 pulleys.2on the deck that are above the blades,put the belt on those first.There should be a tension pulley,with the engine OFF,look on top of the deck and engage the blades.Note the direction the tension pulley moves,the belt must pass inside that pulley.Now disengage the blades and put the belt on the engine pulley.

This is a cub cadet zero turn 2007 model
The problem: electronics will not engage.
The unit was mowing and running when I moved to another location and started the mower it started fine.
Unloaded and went to engage the blades but they would not engage. Got off the machine to check things out belts etc. were OK got back on the machine and it wouldn’t start even the hour meter failed to light up.
Battery is fully charged, I can take a screw driver and “jump” the leads at the seleniod and get the engine to turn over, but not start.
I just need to know where to start looking for the problem. I though about hard wiring the safety switches starting with the seat.
ANSWER : Have you tried moving your brake lever around, if it do,s not make contact with the saftey switch nothing will operate

I forgot how i took my drive belt off my mower n i cant put the new one on its a LT1045 built in 04/26/07
ANSWER : I just got on www.cubcadet.com, went to the residental lawn mower section, used the side bar on the left hand side of the screen and clicked on Operators Manuals. its going to bring up a different window; for the model type in: Lt1045- for the serial number, just type in any numbers. after it loads, click on the first operator manual selection you see. after it brings the .pdf file, it should be pg.25 it has the diagram of the belt routeing. i hope this helps, i would have sent u, or loaded it on here, but its copywrited, so, you have to get it on your own. like i said tho…i hope this information helps u. STARTER WONT TURN ENGINE SOLENOID CLICKS BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED
ANSWER : Do you have 12volts dc to your starter when your solenoid clicks?
if not replace solenoid,if yes check starter next and then be sure engine is not siezed?

How to replace the drive belt on a 2006 cub cadet 1045 hydrostatic xsmsn tractor. It is not included in my operator’s manual. I need directions on how to replace the drive belt on my 2006 cub cadet. It has the hydrostatic transmission. My operator’s manual wants me to take it to a dealer to have them replace it.
