How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :

Because SWA cables are thick and difficult to bend, they are best suited for underground wiring. Therefore, armoured cable is the most suitable cable to be used in harsh external or underground systems when running electrical cable outside your shed.
Low voltage landscape wiring is rated for direct burial use so it does not need to be put in to conduit. We do recommend protecting your cables when you can. You can use conduit in the ground with landscape wire to protect it and also give you the ability to re run wire at a later time if you need to.
“Do outdoor lights need to be on their own circuit?” If that`s what you are wondering, you have reached the right place. Let`s cut to the chase; the final answer is no!
Once outdoors, you should supply your lights via 1.5mm² three core steel-wire-armoured cable (SWA). Make sure that you only fit weatherproof lights that are suitable for outdoor use and that your circuit is RCD-protected.
Wiring for Outdoors

Most underground receptacle and lighting circuits installed in residential wiring are done using Type UF (Underground Feeder) Cable. Type UF Cable must be physically marked as underground feeder cable and is available from 14 AWG through 4/0 AWG copper and from 12 AWG through 4/0 aluminum.

For outside use, Steel Wired Armoured (SWA) cable is used to move power underneath the ground by burying the cable, or overhead using a catenary wire. The number of cores within the cable can range from two to four, depending on the purpose.
Do landscape lighting cables need to be in conduit, or can they be buried directly? Landscape lighting cables can be buried directly if specifically rated for direct burial. The cables can be buried in conduit if this is not the case as long as they have appropriate weather and temperature resistance.
Lighting wiring should be buried at least 6 to 12 inches deep to prevent water absorption, wire breakage, and cuts.
Any light, lamp, bulb holder or fitting with a conductive or metal exterior surface must always be earthed to ensure against risk of electrocution or serious injury. We recommend that any fitting or installation is done by a qualified electrician, do not risk installation yourself if you are at all unsure.
Recommended Lumens for Specific Outdoor Needs

Step lights: 12-100 lumens. Hardscape lights (on walls): 50-185 lumens. Landscape lights: 50-300 lumens. Path lights: 100-200 lumens.

You can use 2.5mm wire for lighting. However, 2.5mm is thicker, less flexible, and more expensive. The standard cables for lighting are 1.5mm.
With 24V, you can run much longer cable and lights than you can with 12V. The 24V and 12V are low voltage and safe to use in a garden and outdoor area.
Fiber optic cable, twisted pair cable, and coaxial cable are the three main types of network cables used in communication systems. Each of them is different and suitable for various applications.
Lighting circuits are generally run in 1mm2 two-core-and-earth cable, but particularly long circuits can use 1.5mm2 cable to compensate for the drop in voltage experienced on long cable runs.
Indoor/outdoor tight-buffered cable is the most commonly used type, which often comes in two versions—fiber distribution cables and breakout fiber optic cable. This type of outdoor cable is flexible, easy to handle and simple to install.
All cables, no matter where they are installed, may have the need for some mechanical protection from damage. This could be protection against weather, such as direct sunlight or frost. Protection against physical damage, objects hitting or crushing the cable.
A regular PVC jacket can only support temperatures down to -20℃, where a Polyethylene jacket can support temperatures down to -40℃. Outdoor-rated cables are differentiated by their UV-resistant jackets. These types of cables are designed to be used outside, but not buried.
The quickest way to extend power outdoors is to install a receptacle back-to-back with one inside the house. You also can drill through the wall from a basement or crawlspace and attach a receptacle on the side of a house using an extension ring.
How Deep Can You Bury Landscape Lighting Wires? When burying landscape lighting wire systems, you will need to dig a 6-inch deep trench into the soil or mulch. To do this, you can use a thin and sharp spade, which will allow you to create an angled trench more quickly and seal it more tightly.

Your electrician definitely should have used some sort of containment such as capping/conduit. That fact that you can see the cable is evidence that the cables are inadequately mechanically protected. All cables should either be contained in steel conduit or protected by 30mA RCD.

They must be readily accessible from the ground and positioned no more than 6 1/2 feet above grade (ground level). Attached decks and balconies with interior access (including a door to the indoors) must have a receptacle no more than 6 1/2 feet above the deck or balcony walking surface.
How to Install Underground Electrical Wiring – How Deep Do I Bury the Wire? Use direct-burial underground feeder cable at 24-inches deep (or more). You don`t need to use conduit at this depth with UF cable, however, you do need to provide PVC conduit on your vertical feeds starting at 18-inches.
Without the earth wire, if a fault occurs and the live wire becomes loose, there is a danger that it will touch the case. The next person who uses the appliance could get electrocuted . The earth wire is therefore connected to the case and is attached to a metal plate or water pipe underground.
Class 2 double insulated lights are designed to operate without the need for an earth wire. They usually have two layers of insulation which cover the live parts, for example the cables inside the fitting.

I need the wiring diagram for the solenoid/1999 16hp hydronamic Simplicity
ANSWER : The two big terminals are one fom the battery and the other to the starter.
The two smaller ones one comes from the ignition switch and the other might just be a ground.
Test becareful is hook the battery and starter wires up; take a wire and stick one on the battery terminal and tap each of the smaller terminals; when you get a click that will and should fire the stater; make sure it is out of gear or it will start. remember that terminal and hook the ignition key to it. check the other smaller terminal is or isn’t a ground one.
