The mover is three years old…with not a problem since I have had it. My son apparently put to much oil in the mover and cut the grass. It cut fine then. But since then I found out about the oil overage..have changed the oil and filter. My problem is that after this time of overfilling it it puts out while smoke through the front of the mower. I it is not coming out through anywhere I can find It just smokes a lot! (White smoke.) What do I need to do to fix the problem? I do not want nor have the money to buy a new mower or spend a ton in repair bills for this one.

It might not have been over filled with oil i have seen many needle valves not seating in the carb the gas over fills the carb and drains into the crank case thinning out the oil and if not caught in time i scores the cylinder wall

Blue or white smoke coming from your engine usually indicates burning oil, which can be caused by: Overfilling the crankcase with oil. Incorrect oil grades. Operating engine at greater than a 15 degree angle.
White smoke from your exhaust means coolant is exposed to your engine`s combustion process. In most cases, this is the result of a blown head gasket, but a cracked engine block or cylinder head could also be the cause.

There may also be a fault in your coolant system, or your engine may not have enough lubricant.
The most common cause of black smoke is a clogged air filter. Replace your mower`s air filter and this should resolve the problem. If you`re still seeing smoke, the air-to-fuel ratio may be off, in which case the lawn mower`s carburettor might need to be adjusted (ideally by a lawn mower repair specialist).
White smoke most likely would indicate that water or coolant is getting into the combustion chamber or exhaust port. This can occur if coolant is leaking into the head. It could also be as simple as water entering the exhaust or carburetor after the engine was pressure-washed.

What size and how many blades do I need for my husqvarna 21 hp riding mower with a 46 inch deck?
ANSWER : Well I guess laying down next to it and taking a look under the mower deck is beyond the question. One could ask about how many teeth the horse has or just look in its mouth. However, I am going to guess 3 blades as 2 blade units usually are 42″ cut maximum. Mine is 48″ and has 3 blades.
