How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?
We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :
Chainsaw engines are traditionally either a two-stroke gasoline (petrol) internal combustion engine (usually with a cylinder volume of 30 to 120 cm3) or an electric motor driven by a battery or electric power cord.
Heavy work: If the task requires long hours felling trees, consider a professional chainsaw powered with a 65 to 110 cc engine and a guide bar of 16 to 20 inches. Moderate work: Cutting logs for firewood only needs a 55 cc engine with a 16 inch guide bar.
That being said, you can expect a quality chainsaw to last you at least 10 years or more. But if you take care of it, I know people who have saws that have lasted 20-30 years and even longer.
Powerful Engine — 52CC 2.7HP 2-stroke gasoline engine with a maximum speed of 11000 rpm. Engine can provide strong power for a 18-inch bar and a low recoil chain.
Never use E85 or diesel fuels. Remember to use fresh gasoline and to mix it with the recommended 2-cycle oil.
We recommend a chainsaw with at least a 70cc engine for use in a chainsaw mill.
Most modern chainsaws, string trimmers, leaf blowers and other small-engine two-stroke equipment recommend a 50:1 oil mix ratio, but some recommend 40:1 and older two-stroke equipment might even call for 32:1.
18″ Chainsaws: An 18″ chainsaw is at the top end of a “small” chainsaw. It is also one of the most commonly purchased sizes because of its versatility. It is big enough to handle up to 16″ diameter cuts while still manageable enough to do small cuts as well.

Kill switch doesn't work, how do i fix it? – Husqvarna 350 18 Inch Gas Chainsaw 52CC Fully Assembled Brand New 18"
The switch connects directly to the coil body of the ignition module. You may have to remove the left side cover to expose the ignition module. The switch, when off, connects this wire to engine ground. There may be debris in the contacts of the switch that prevent contact. You will have to remove the air cleaner assembly and maybe the carburetor itself to access the switch. Good luck!

Stalls at full power. – Husqvarna 350 18 Inch Gas Chainsaw 52CC Fully Assembled Brand New 18"
I am not familiar with where the adjustment screws are for this but is sounds like you need to adjust the high end of the carb. There are two small screws and you can adjust these while the machine is running. Dont over turn these, it only takes a very small adjustment and always make a mental note of where you were originally.
Carb adujustment on a huskavarna 61 – Husqvarna 350 18 Inch Gas Chainsaw 52CC Fully Assembled Brand New 18"
Check the fuel filter, air cleaner, and muffler for plugging. Check the condition of the fuel lines for decay or other damage. Be sure to have fresh fuel mix in the tank (50:1 ratio) and be sure to shake the container thoroughly just before adding fuel to the tank to prevent oil starvation. Turn both jet screws CW to stops (lightly), then turn each out CCW 1-1/2 turns. Start the engine and allow to warm up. Pull the throttle full on and adjust H jet needle CW until the engine starts to speed up. Proper adjustment is when the engine will 4-stroke unloaded, but will 2-stroke immediately when cutting. Release the throttle and adjust L jet needle CW for better idle, yet allows the engine to ‘follow the throttle’. Adjust the idle speed screw so that the engine continues to run, but the chain doesn’t try to move. Hope this helps!
Can you adjust the oil pump – Poulan Pro 42CC 2 Cycle Chainsaw, 18"
Depends on the saw. If it is adjustable then it will be adjusted from the bottom of the saw. Most have a diagram on the bottom showing which direction to turn the screw
