Because snow blowers are used in cold weather, a battery would not function well. Therefore, it`s necessary to plug it in to use the electric start. As a back-up, electric start snow blowers also come equipped with backup recoil starters.
An electric snowblower will have a power rating measured in amps (e.g. 12A). Your winter extension cord needs to be able to handle the rated amps of your snowblower. The numbers don`t need to match exactly, but generally, a 12-gauge cord 50`-100` long will safely handle equipment using 10-15 amps of power.
The snowblower spark plug creates the spark that ignites the fuel to start engine.
The average time to charge the batteries is about 2.5 hours. My husband was able to snowblow 400 feet of sidewalk and 3 driveways before we had to charge the batteries.
The spark plugs are typically located at the top of the cylinder head. The piston moves down the cylinder where it take in a combination of air and fuel. Next, the piston travels back up to the spark plug, compressing the mixture.
Typically, spark plugs in four-cylinder engines are located on the top or side of the engine in a row. Spark plugs in inline six-cylinder engines are usually located on the top or side of the engine head. Spark plugs in V6 and V8-cylinder engines are generally split evenly across either side of the engine.
Electric snow blowers don`t need oil changes, they don`t need new spark plugs, and they don`t require gasoline. The only real maintenance they require is wiping down any part that gets especially dirty or salty and recharging the batteries for dc models.

Wont start now
ANSWER : By tipping it back, the spark plug got wet with gas. Replace the plug or remove it and clean it dry (after drying it, use a lighter or other heat source to make sure before putting it back in). A little starting fluid would also help after cleaning or replacing. Spray starting fluid in the air intake only, not on the plug.
