Kohler Courage Engines are Gasoline Engines with 15 to 27HP with a vertical axis and Air cooled, One and Two Cylinders. You can install them in Lawnmowers.
10W-30 (Command Oil) is recommended for Command, Courage, Command PRO, Command PRO CS, Triad OHC, and Aegis engines for temperatures above freezing (32°F, 0°C). SAE-30 is an acceptable substitute if temperatures are above 50°F, 10°C.

Full synthetic oil engineered by Amsoil
Kohler PRO 10W-50 is engineered by Amsoil as a premium lubricant specifically for air cooled engines.
*Although 10W-40 engine oil is the recommended oil for most conditions, the oil viscosity may need to be changed to accommodate seasonal temperature changes. Using 20W-50 oil in higher ambient temperatures may reduce oil consumption.
*Use of synthetic oil having 5W-20 or 5W-30 rating is acceptable, up to 4°C (40°F).

ANSWER : Your carb is in a lean codition which causes the exhaust to glow. I would recommend having repair shop rebuild carb .This way you get it set properly and should have to make only minor adjusments .I also recommened running a fuel stabilizer all the time .

ANSWER : Under the seat towards the rear are two levers with finger loops. move them both to the neutral position shown in diagram provided on mower. This will release the wheels .

Engine runs, blades turn but mower will not move
ANSWER : Look in front of back tired on frame, not deck, there are. 2 rods, 1 on each side, rods look like a L, it’s going through a little eye opening, push it backards, mower should move. If rod is pulled through opening and locked in, mower will not move..its a safety. Feather on mower
