Serial numbers are often found on the back or bottom of the product unit. In some cases, the serial number may also be the unit`s barcode.
Most serial numbers are stamped in the motor housing or crankcase to the left or right of the muffler looking down from the top on a flat surface. They will in most cases be 9 digits long and begin with the number 1, 2 or 5.
To find a chain replacement, you`ll need to figure out two numbers: Pitch: the distance between the chain`s drive links. Gauge: the width of the groove where the chain fits into the bar.
