Use regular bar/chain oil available from home centers, hardware stores, and saw dealers. Check for proper oiling by running the saw tip near some cardboard for a few moments–it should throw off a thin line of oil onto the cardboard. Hope this helps!

Does the pole saw use oil? Yes, bar and chain oil is required to properly lubricate the cutting system. Oregon Bar and Chain Oil is recommended for the PS250.
Be sure to use bar chain oil, Not regular motor oil. (Your saw has standards).
The EGO POWER+ 32 Fl Oz Premium Bar and chain lubricant is recommended for use with EGO POWER+ Chain Saws to extend bar and chain life for superior performance. The premium oil-free formula outperforms traditional bar and chain oils and is 100% bio-based and biodegradable.
Pro Tip: Lubricate the sliding extendable poles of your tree trimmer as well as the pruner shears, lever arm, and blade with WD-40® Specialist® Dry Lube. The long-lasting corrosion protection does not attract dirt or debris and the formula provides superior lubrication with no oily residue.
It`s works just fine, and empties out in parallel with the gas, same as chain oil. I`ve dome some chain saw milling also, and still use the canola oil.
the general consensus of the guys that are using their saws day in and day out is to just use canola oil. Any oil will work, even olive oil, except for that flinging at the top sprocket. there is an additive in chainsaw oil that makes it “stringy” and help it hold onto the chain links.
If you run a chainsaw without bar oil, it`s likely that the chain will heat up and eventually break. This can cause extensive damage to the chainsaw and may even require a new chain and bar. It`s imperative that you use the correct amount of bar oil.
Set your chainsaw on a level surface, bar side down so that it lays flat. Allow a minute for the oil to settle, then unscrew the cap to the saw`s bar and chain oil reservoir. Using a small funnel, slowly pour the bar and chain oil into the reservoir, taking care not to overfill.
Although the motor does not require gas or any fuel additive, the chain will require `bar and chain` oil.
Now, there are mainly 2 types of engines, Standard combustion engines and 2-stroke engines. You can use standard, hydraulic and biodegradable oil for standard combustion type engines. For 2-stroke engines, you need to use 2-stroke engine oil.
Olive oil is an effective, environmentally-friendly way to clean the blade. Resin dissolves in olive oil and will therefore disappear if you use it to clean the saw blade.

Dont know what type of oil to use – Toro Power Lawn Mower
ANSWER : Put straight 30 weight motor oil in it. Not 10W30 or any multi-viscosity oil. Straight 30 weight motor oil. If you’re doing a complete oil change, then you may want to use Synthetic 30 weight, which will last longer between oil changes and also make your engine last longer (but it costs more too). What type of oil do I use for pole saw? – Remington Polesaw Wizard
ANSWER : Use bar and chain oil (bar oil is SAE 30 with an addative to make stick to the bar and chain) available at home centers and hardwares. Excerpt from a Remington OM follows:
“FILLING OIL TANK
1. Remove oil cap.
2. Fill oil tank with SAE #30 motor oil.
Note: For temperatures below 30°F, use SAE #10 oil.
For temperatures above 75°F, use SAE #40 oil.
3. Replace oil cap at once. Tighten oil cap firmly for good seal. This will avoid oil seepage from tank.
4. Wipe off excess oil.
Note: It is normal for oil to seep when saw is not in use. Empty oil tank after each use to prevent seepage.”

What type of oil does it use? – Troy-Bilt 4-Cycle Curve Shaft Gas String Trimmer #41ADT41C966
ANSWER : I think all of these 4-stroke trimmers use SAE 30HD oil. I recommend synthetic. If you use synthetic, you can get away with using a multi-viscosity like 10W-30 if you can’t find straight SAE30 synthetic, but don’t use muti-viscosity conventional oil in these machines.
