SAE 10W-30 Motor Oil. Honda Genuine quality SAE 10W-30 grade oil is formulated for use in 4-cycle engines.

SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40 are oils that are useful in both hot summer and cold winter days. For example, if you are looking to use your pressure washer and the temperatures are about 40 degrees (F) or less, SAE 10W-30 will be your failsafe option. Anything about 40 degrees, it can still be your best option.
Honda recommends 10W-30 API SJ or later.
American Honda recommends using Honda Genuine Motor Oil, sold and available at Honda dealers . If Honda Genuine Motor Oil is not used, conventional motor oil of a premium-grade or an ultimate full synthetic blend may be used and must contain the specified viscosity grade indicated in your Owner`s Manual.

Generally speaking, SAE 5w-30 or SAE 10w-30 are good grades for pressure washers, but checking your owner`s manual will tell you for sure.

Is SAE 30 Oil The Same As 10W-30? No. Unlike SAE 30, SAE 10W-30 is multi grade oil. SAE 10W-30 has SAE 10W viscosity at a lower temperature and SAE 30 viscosity at a hotter operating temp.
The friction modifiers in car oil is used for improved fuel economy. So Honda recommend that the CBF1000 uses 10W30, known as the viscosity numbers. The “W” stands for “winter”, which relates to how the oil will flow when cold. The second number defines how the oil will flow at normal running temperature.
The answer to this question is no. You cannot use 5w30 instead of 5w20. You should always use the type of oil that your car manufacturer recommends.

I have a Honda GX240 that burns oil like crazy. Rings are perfect as are the valve guides..what’s the problem?
ANSWER : One major problem is how much oil u put into it,if you over full it ,on the down stroke the oil will compress,forcing the oil,between the rings,causing it too burn.

What kind of oil does it use for Remington 16’electric saw.
ANSWER : Use any bar and chain oil. Can be bought at most big-box-stores (Home Depot, Lowes) or stores that sell outdoor power equipment. Don’t use motor oil, you’ll have a mess when you store the saw.
