Powered by a reliable OHV 196cc gasoline engine that feeds into an Axial Cam Pump, it delivers 2,700 psi Pressure at 2.4 gallons per minute of flow.
If the machine is pulsing whilst in use, it may be that the accessory you are using has a blockage. Clear by soaking the accessory in warm soapy water and then rinsing out under the tap.
PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) refers to the amount of cleaning pressure the machine can produce. GPM (Gallons per Minute) is the amount of water that is coming from the machine.
GPM stands for gallons per minute. It refers to the flow rate or the volume of water that moves through the pressure washer`s nozzle every minute. Think of GPM as rinsing power. The higher a pressure washer`s GPM, the quicker you can wash a surface clean.
This powerful pressure washer is built for tough jobs, with 2500 PSI and 2.4 GPM of cleaning power. The pressure washer has a long-reach high pressure hose so you can clean wider areas.
The 2700 PSI of force will quickly clean driveways, decks, windows and other areas around the house. The durable, compact frame and large flat-free wheels make this pressure washer easy to transport and store.
Pulsation generally occurs when a liquid`s motive force is generated by reciprocating or peristaltic positive displacement pumps. It is most commonly caused by the acceleration and deceleration of the pumped fluid. This uncontrolled energy appears as pressure spikes.
The pump may turn on and off several times with very short pauses causing a pulsing sound. This is part of normal operation.
In general, the PSI (pounds per square inch) refers to the amount of pressure generated and the GPM (gallons per minute) refers to the volume of water flow. Think of PSI being a erasing action to blast off dirt or contaminates with force on the surface you are cleaning.
Kitchen faucet: 2-3 GPM. Shower: 1.5-3 GPM. Dishwasher: 2-4 GPM. Washing machine: 3-5 GPM.
The average household needs 100 to 120 gallons per person per day, and a flow rate of about 6 to 12 gallons per minute.
For most single-family homes, a minimum flow of 6 GPM is suggested from a well or spring. This flow would provide 360 gallons of water each hour, which would be sufficient to meet most home water peak demands.
The 3000 psi machine can put out 5 gpm while the 4000 psi machine has to be cut back to 3.5 to 4gpm in flow.

Need help in getting Honda engine on NorthStar pressure washer to run.
Could be low water pressure I have found. Also, I purchased a can of “stuff” at Lowes today which allows you to circulate a liquid substance which lubricates the pressure pump….the pump could be frozen up…I have a rotating nozzle which I bought…and it had frozen up…this stuff works
I have used the McCulloch (FH180A) three times over the course of two years. On my fourth use the pressure washer just surged on and off and I would get a tiny spray from the gun each time it surged. In other words it would do nothing. Please help… very frustrated. Thanks
Sounds like the problem could be low input water flow or pressure. There could be crud on the intake where you hook up the garden hose, there could be some other sort of blockage. Try hooking it up to the hose and pull the trigger (with the power switched off) and wait to see if water comes out the tip. Also look at the tip(s) themselves. sometimes a piece of crud gets into the hose and then clogs the tip.
How do i prime the pump on the soaper or chemical dispenser on my troy built 2550 psi pressure washer?
There is no need to prime. But you do need to use the black spray nozzle to get soap to siphon out.
if that doesn’t solve the problem let me know
Kranzle electric washer will not suck up soap
Hi, if it has a chemical injector on the machine then the pressure at the lance will have to be lowered for it to pull in soap. it works on a similar principle to how carburetors on cars pull in fuel, bernouli principle. high pressure at one side of an orifice going to low pressure at the other side which causes a negative pressure ( vacuum) which should pull in the soap. there should be a non return valve at the orifice (hole) which prevents the water back feeding into the soap container, it is quite common for this valve to get stuck, it is just a ball, spring and o ring , and the ball sticks to the o ring. if it is this system then take the soap pick up pipe off the injector and just push the ball off it’s seat with a bit of wire.If it is a high pressure soap system then that is different, but they usually work with an injector in my experience.try taking the high pressure hose off the front off the machine and running it, if it has an injector on it it should pull in plenty off soap.hope this helps ,andy
Honda powwer boss 3000-whenyoupull the handale to spray it kills the engine
Sounds like the unloader (regulator). Try removing the nozzle, the pull the trigger with the engine running. If motor is still running then it could be the Unloader malfunctioning. If you require a new one try a bypass system for the unloader. The bypass will help save the life of the unloader.
1750 psi Electric Pressure Washer: My pressure washer is losing pressure and is pulsa…
If the pressure washer is pulsating then that is a sign of check valve failure. You may be able to clean of replace the check valves. Replacing the head is the wrong way to go. This is completely unnecessary. If you can tell me the model number of your pressure washer then I can assist you better in pointing you in the right direction.
