Can’t remove the lid to refill. I must have tightened it too much. I removed sprayer to release pressure to no avail.

Push the pump handle all the way down and turn counter clockwise into the locked position. Continue to turn the pump handle counter clockwise until the entire lid starts to turn and unscrew. This can be difficult sometimes if the lids are put on very tight.
Causes: Bad seal around the lid of the pump, dirt/debris on the check valve, crack/seam in the tank. Solution: If the air leak is due to a bad seal under the lid, you will need to replace the lid o-ring. Many pump sprayer manufacturers offer repair kits that contain the lid o-ring.

How do you refill?
ANSWER : Remove all pressure by keeping the hose open until no pressure is left. place pump handle down toward tank. Turn count counter clock wise to unscrew. Take assembly out of tank then fill tank. Reinstall in reverse order.

Sprayer looses pressure pump issue ?
ANSWER : You can take the intake part of the pump apart and clean/lube the diaphragm of the pump. If you didn’t clean it out last time it was used there will be residual or cake built up. Make sure the down snorkel is clear and doesn’t have any contamination in the tube. Check the screen/filter also.

Immediate pressure loss
ANSWER : Your dip tube inside the tank has come loose or has a leak near the top. instead of fluid being pushed up the dip tube into the wand hose the air in the tank is just escaping. You will have to remove the wand hose and figure out where the leak is and fix the dip tube.

Sprayer wont spray or hold pressure
ANSWER : We use the both the 425 and 475 solo sprayers most days at work and when they start to lose pressure ( after 6 months of daily professional use) we purchase a complete seal kit and put it through them. The only part I can’t work out how to remove is the inside cylinder, other than that everything else is easily removed and replaced.

ANSWER : Most weed killers and fertilisers either crystalise or turn to gel when left unused. Pull sprayer wand to pieces and run hot water through the hose and wand, they especially clog up at the spray tip and at the on’off control.
