Replaced spark plug..but still wont turn over…what else can i do or look for to get this to start ..only a year old used for have the summer last year

if it doesnt spark now it could be a split in the HT lead so change that

My trimmer starts but after warming up stops and wont start again
ANSWER : After it stalls take the fuel cap off and put it back on and see if it starts,maybe the cap is bad or clogged and not letting air in to equalize the pressure of the fuel being used

I have a stilh hl75 long reach hedge trimmer will not start plug is fine pull rope it will start sometimes but will not rev take choke off and it dies plug gets wet but still wont start seems to have a slite leak from the carb help please.

Do you know what the proper Champion part number is for a Toro 51972 weed trimmer is? This was purchased used and it had a RCJ4 Champion plug in it and I just need to verify that this is the correct plug. The trimmer won’t start and I want to start there with trying to solve the problem.
ANSWER : That is the correct spark plug for the unit. i work at a power equipment store where we work on homelites. 90% of the time it wont start or run right is usually carb issues . need to get it rebuild or replaced

Ball will not prime
ANSWER : You can check the filter in the tank just blow the filter out if that don’t work check the lines going to the bulb if you have change the bulb out change the lines around
