I checked all the fuses.
It looks like the clutch on the back of the motor will not disengage.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

ANSWER : Check oil level fuel could have flooded through into the engine oil which will cause it to blow out if so clean out carby and check that needle in the carby is sealing

ANSWER : Something everyone over looks is oil. Did you check the oil? You seemed to mention everything else but. If you have a low oil switch with low oil it will not start

Key start Toro Recycle blows fuse when the key is turned.
ANSWER : Bad wire shorting to ground. Repair.

My toro 6.5 hp push mower (2010), has no fire to the plug. I have not abused it. i have a small yard and it just gets normal use. Now it won’t fire. I first changed the fuel and cleaned the carb thinking it was that crappy ethanol again. but i grounded out the spark plug and cranked it…no spark. I think it has to do with the lever you pull back to start it . they have some stupid complicated safety contraption that rides along the fly wheel when you pull back on the handle for starting and shutting off the engine. …it looks worn out already…like a mini brake pad. any ideas?…do i really have to replace this garbage every year or am i on the wrong path here?
ANSWER : Unhook your wire from the coil that goes to shut off mechanism, and see if you have spark then. the wire may be grounded out, or your coil might have took a ****

I have trouble starting a toro walk behind mower
ANSWER : All, I thought my carb was shot, so I replaced it. Still, start but no run (and had to use starting fluid). THEN!!! I noticed the spring to the “rev limiter” (just below and towards rear of carb) was not “tight”. The stupid bracket that holds the end of that spring had been bent down ~1/16″ and that caused all this heartache. CHECK YOUR REV LIMITER!!!

I was mowing and the blades stopped turning. I disengaged and re-engaged the blades a few times and they started back. Then a few minutes later the blades stopped again then the motor stopped and will not start.
ANSWER : I have no idea what type or model of mower you have but if I was to guess I would say it has an electric pto clutch on it, if so remove your pto belt and clutch. I would bet it is burned out and locked up preventing your motor from turning over. Once the clutch is removed I will bet it will start and run fine. This is not a cheap fix but relatively easy one. I have a toro time cutter that i need to get to the shop, the problem is i need it to go in to neural.
ANSWER : Under the seat towards the rear are two levers with finger loops. move them both to the neutral position shown in diagram provided on mower. This will release the wheels .

Electric clutch pto. wire pulled out of assymbly. I found the right replacement part . Do you need a puller to replace? Or does it just slide on and off?
ANSWER : It may not just slide off , but should be able to come off with hand tools.
