Polesaw Wizard
Experienced gardeners share their insights in answering this question :
RemingtonPower is no longer in production, The “Coupling Nut” was replaced by a “Thumb Latch” neither of these nor the entire pole assembly are available. You might try this (no promises). http://store.poolcenter.com/shared/StoreFront/product_detail.asp?RowID=167966&CS=poolcenter&All Someone recommended using a hose clamp in place of the nut. I think these are band-aids and eventually you will need a part that cannot be found. We rarely get inquiries for McCulloch or Poulan electric units. Might be worth a look. If you care to try on your own start here: Remington.com http://shoppingcart.msservicecompany.com/Default.aspx
Type “YourModelNumber” into the “Search for your unit by Model:” window, then click search.
Click the “YourModelNumber” – Remington Electric Chain Saw “View Model” link.
Click “View Owners Manual” or “View Illustrated Parts Diagram” link.
Type “YourPartNumber” into the “Search for your parts by Part #:” window, then click search.
Sometimes you can find NLA parts (use part number for above) offered here: Master Distributors http://www.masterparts.net/remingtonelectricchainsaw.html If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. and Good Luck. HTH

Be sure to use bar chain oil, Not regular motor oil. (Your saw has standards).
A pole saw is a standard saw attached to the end of a long handle. They`re used for cutting tree branches and shrubs that are beyond your reach. Pole saws are a handy addition to any tool collection, especially when you have a lot of landscaping to maintain.
When professional arborists drop a large piece of wood, they use ropes in a pulley system to safely slow its descent to the ground. When you cut branches with pole saws and pruners, you can`t do that; you have to let the wood drop uncontrolled. High or heavy wood can damage, hurt, and kill when it falls.

Have a Remington Electric Pole Saw Model 075081 looking for Brushes only for it, or the whole Field assemply part #075837 if I have too.
ANSWER : Remington Saws have discontinued operations, and any available parts for the saws require diligent searching on the web. These saws seem to eat motor brushes for lunch, and nearly every owner is looking for brushes as well. Your best bet is to try finding a similar brush from a different tool that might fit. Look to any power tool repair facility for whatever help you can get. A small company making replacement brushes would seem to be a lucrative enterprise. Good luck!
