If your lawnmower tires keep going flat, you probably have a slow leak either because a foreign object has penetrated the tire wall or your valve stem is faulty. Of course, you could blame a rough lawn or heat exposure, but these are usually secondary factors to a more pressing problem.
There are Several Possibilities as to Why Your Tires Lose Air: a hole in the tread, probably from a nail or something sharp in the road. a hole in the sidewall, probably from an encounter with something sharp on the road. a poor seal where the tire attaches to the wheel, which lets air escape.
Mounting Problems – This is a common reason why new tires leak air. Corrosion at your vehicle`s rim where it meets the tire is likely to be the cause of air loss. Damaged Valves – Brand new tires can have faulty valves, but the valves can be easily and inexpensively replaced.
FlatOut™ is a one-time tire sealant that prevents flats due to punctures up to 1/2“ and stops slow leaks around the bead or valve stem or due the natural porosity of the tire.
“Fix-A-Flat” is pressurized so no air compressor is needed. Great for getting you out of harm`s way on the highway to the nearest repair facility. “Slime” (imo) works better for dealing if you have access to an air compressor. Notify the repairman of sealant use when having the tire repaired.
A punctured tyre is not necessarily the same thing as a flat tyre. Whereas a flat tyre has lost most or all its air, a puncture can often be a slow release of air from inside the tyre.
the tape rim is fitted incorrectly or has been damaged. the tyre isn`t seated properly.
The straw-colored wheel track patterns occur when drought-stressed turf is mowed — essentially bruising the turf leaf blades. Unfortunately, this bruising kills the leaf blade, often all the way to the ground.
