Clogged Dispenser

Sometimes a soap dispenser becomes clogged with dried or solidified soap and prevents the dispenser from working. First, unscrew the dispenser and remove the trigger and pump section of the soap dispenser. Take this section and put it in hot water to soak for approximately 10-15 minutes.

When the foaming filter is clogged it will prevent foam from producing. Flush your foaming pump (never soak or submerge your pump) with white vinegar. Once you have your pump cleared, it is recommended to flush your pump with a warm water and white vinegar solution with every soap refill.
You Have a Clogged Nozzle or Hose

This can be easily remedied by taking a quick look at the screen – if it`s caked with crud, simply remove it and give it (and the area around it) a good cleaning. You may also want to check the pressure washer pump inlet screens and filters while you`re at it.

If the soap does not contain enough lye, the oils will not saponify. Another reason for soft soap is there was not enough hard oils or butters (such as coconut oil, palm oil or cocoa butter). Soap made with only soft oils can take an extremely long time to unmold (such as castile soap).
To clean the pump, simply flush your pump with warm water and a bit of vinegar. For stubborn clogs, use a bit more vinegar ; a toothpick may come in handy. Allow it to dry thoroughly before adding soap to the dispenser. It is recommended to flush your pump with warm water once a month ; or each fill up.
Try a soft reset, by pressing power button for 12 seconds and then power on the device. If your soap dispenser isn`t used for a prolonged time, soap can accumulate and clog the nozzle. To troubleshoot, clean the nozzle area with water and remove any stuck soap.
Will foaming soap work in our soap dispensers? Foaming soap will pump from the soap dispenser but it will not foam. Soap Dispensers can use liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol-based hand-sanitizer, and even typical hand lotions. Foaming soap will pump from the soap dispenser but it will not foam.
Foam and liquid soap are not interchangeable in your dispenser and it`s important to differentiate the two. The easiest way to do this is to concentrate on what kind of soap is eventually delivered into a user`s hands as both soaps start off in much the same way.

If the soap has been in the mold several hours and then starts separating, scoop it into a crockpot and cook on low heat for around 1 hour (hot process), then spoon into a soap mold. The soap will have a rougher “rustic” look to it, but it will be salvaged.

Soap feed The soap feed hose on my Karcher 2650 does not suck up the soap into the washer. I pulled off the connector piece that the hose is connected to. I can blow through the hose. There is a little metal finger thing that you can tell pushes up into place when the water pressure is high. It seems like it is supposed to drop down and allow some soap through when the water is running. I found a loose(attached to nothing) gasket, looks like a little donut. It was just free floating in there. I’m thinking it may go over the finger mechanism. I just put it back on top of the finger, like a halo and put the screw in piece back in. Anyway, if you know, let me know how all that goes together.
