The fuel is fresh ( > 89 octane : RON) and properly mixed at 50 : 1 with “ISO L-EGD” 2 stroke oil.
ECHO gas blowers run on a 50:1 ratio of gas and oil mixture. You can do your own mix or purchase premix gas/oil.
The fuel filter might be clogged. A clogged fuel filter is most commonly caused by leaving old fuel in the leaf blower. Over time, some of the ingredients in the fuel may evaporate, leaving behind a thicker, stickier substance. This sticky fuel can clog the fuel filter and cause the engine to stall.
The stoichiometric mixture for a gasoline engine is the ideal ratio of air to fuel that burns all fuel with no excess air. For gasoline fuel, the stoichiometric air–fuel mixture is about 14.7:1 i.e. for every one gram of fuel, 14.7 grams of air are required.
The fuel to oil ratio varies depending on the engine, but it`s typically around 50:1. This means that for every 50 parts of fuel, you`ll need 1 part of oil.
Mechanical or electrical issues are the two main categories of industrial blower fan failure that can completely stop the fan. Faulty belts, loose pulleys, insufficient power, inadequate wire size, blown fuses, and other issues can occur in these areas.
Blower motors are designed to circulate air, so they won`t work if there`s no air to move. You should always check the filters and vents surrounding the blower to make sure that the blower isn`t having a hard time working. Look into your air filter`s housing and check the markings on your filter.
Two-cycle engines, like those in leaf blowers, require a gas and oil mix — the oil is a special type designed to mix with gas, and not motor oil. The oil bottles will generally be for mixing with either a gallon of gas or 2½ gallons of gas, depending on the volume of the oil.
If your manufacturer recommends a 50:1 fuel/oil mix, it means you need 50 parts of gas to one part two-stroke oil. To mix one gallon of fuel at 50:1, add 2.6 ounces of two-stroke oil to one gallon of gas, as shown in the chart below.
Both make excellent backpack blowers and they`re by far the top two brands we see on professional trailers. Echo tends to lead in performance while Stihl tends to lead in feature development.
Some cordless leaf blowers last for 15-20 minutes, while others can last over an hour. If you have a large yard, choose a cordless leaf blower with a long life to its battery to eliminate the need for a recharge midway through your session.

Started PB620-ST yesterday with some difficulty. However, ran until fuel empty. Refueled today, but will not start. Spark at plug ok. Fuel flowing, but seems to overflow into air filter compartment. Does not seem to “fire” at all.
ANSWER : Sounds like your flooding the engine; I did the same thing. Wait a while to let the gas drain back to the tank. Use your primer bulb once and your choke for only ONE pull; then shut off the choke. Pull start without the choke 2-3 times and it should start.
