Hold the triggger down and squeeze the bottle at the same time to create a pressure inside of the bottle of spray to prime the pump.

Re-prime the sprayer by engaging the trigger for up to 30 seconds, until it begins to spray. Check the nozzle for clogs. If the sprayer tip is clogged, don`t use soap or other cleaning agents to clean it. If necessary, clean the outer sprayer surface only with a damp towel.

ANSWER : The handle pushes down and locks to be carry or to unscrew it. Push handle down, then twist left to unscrew. It may take a bunch of force to start. Better to hold the sprayer down and relieve all pressure before doing the unscrew.

I can’t get the Roundup Professional Sprayer to

ANSWER : Put a little wd-40 or light oil down in the plunger shaft to get the leathers on the pump plunger to seal back against the cylinder wall. Work it a little and u will feel the pressure come back. Maybe some dish soap would work too if u like bubbles.
