I cannot get more line out of my toro 15″ electric trimmer. It cannot be empty, it has only been used once. The cutting line will not extend out any more. Should it not?
ANSWER : Sometimes the line can become fused together.remove the spindle and manually pull the line. Replace and the tap and feed should work fine.

How do you get the cap off to replace the string?
ANSWER : Here is a video on 3 different heads. Yours is probably the first head that he demonstrates:(do not delete) The
only thing that is not demonstrated is a left-hand vs. right-hand
trimmer. The spool retainer may twist off in the opposite direction if

My Toro gas trimmer starts but cuts off almost immediately. The priming bulb seems to not fill correctly, and has air in it. Also, it was stored over the winter with gas in the tank. I changed the spark plug, and it ran better, but then cut out again. Priming bulb? Gas filter? And is there somplace where I can view a diagram of “how to”? I am not super handy with a wrench.
