TROY BUILT RIDING MOWER MODEL13AX60KH011 – Troy Bilt 175HP Manual 42" Riding Mower
I have a troy bilt pony and the drive belt to engage to blades keeps coming off. I have replaced the belt and the pully what else could it be?
Well i would take a long look at the spring which holds the tension pulley in place. if it is weak, or not connected correctly, there will be inadequate tension and the belt can come off. I would also take a look at whatever fasteners keep the deck in place as if it is not kept to the rear, there again will be too much play in the deck belt.

I have a Troy Bilt TBP6040 XP 4 cycle weed eater with the spring assist starting. The pull cord broke and I am trying to replace it but I can’t seem to get the cord to go all the way back in. I need help. Thanks Jimmy
I just had this same issue. I found out that you have to take the cord out of the handle then put the spool in. You then rotate the spool back in and align the spool with the spring and fish out the cord which will put a small amout of tension on it. You keep the tension on it and put the handle back on.
