A clogged carburetor is most commonly caused by leaving fuel in the pressure washer for a long period of time. Over time, some of the ingredients in the fuel may evaporate, leaving behind a thicker, stickier substance. This sticky fuel can clog up the carburetor and cause the engine to run stall.
If your washing machine water won`t shut off, there are a few possible causes: A damaged water inlet valve. A broken water level switch. A problem with the pressure hose or air dome tube.
If the spark arrestor is dirty or damaged, it can cause the engine to stall. To clean the spark arrestor, you will need to remove it from the pressure washer and use a wire brush to remove any build-up. Once the spark arrestor is clean, you can reattach it and try starting the power washer again.
Pressure Switches are activated when you reach a certain pressure: between 500-700 PSI. When the pressure meets this threshold, the switch is used to activate the burner for hot water. These switches are the most reliable solution for engine driven hot water pressure washer machines.
Water pressure faces one end of the piston, and the spring opposes from the dry end. The dry end of the piston also operates the electric switch. When there is little or no pressure in the line, the spring forces the piston down (toward the water line), and the electric switch connected to the piston is pulled closed.

It depends on the pressure washing equipment you purchase. New pressure washers will be rated with a number of hours they should last. For example, if it is rated 500 hours and you use it fewer than 50 hours throughout the year then it will last you more than ten years as long as you keep it well maintained.

Gas-powered pressure washers have a thermal release valve that releases water from the pump when it reaches a specific temperature to keep the pump from overheating. When the valve is open, new, cooler water is introduced into the pump and then closes when the temperature is brought down.

Weedeater repair the rotating head won’t rotate when I press the accelerator. Is something wrong with the drive shaft?
ANSWER : This could be the clutch (if it has one), drive shaft, or gearbox components at the end of the drive tube.
When the head is turned manually, does the clutch drum, if equipped, turn on the other end?
If so, the clutch components may have failed. If not, check both ends of the drive shaft and each of the sockets that it engages for any wear or stripped metal. If all of that looks good, it could be a failure within the gearbox.
