1. Raise attatchment lift lever to its highest position
2. Slide the mower deck under the tractor with deflector shield (grass Chute) to right side of tractor
3. Lower lift lever to its lowest position
4.. Connect the front links to the mower deck and secure with the retainer springs.
5. Connect thye suspension arms to the rear deck brackets and secure with their retainer springs.
6. Connect the anti-sway bar to the chassis bracket and secure with the retainer spring.
7. Push the clutch cable housing guide into the bracket, and slide the collar onto the guide and
secure it with the large retainer spring.
8. Place the flat washer and clutch spring on the idler pulley bolt and secure them with the small
retainer spring.
9. Re-install the blade belt onto the engine pulley it goes on.

ANSWER : If memory serves me correctly it is just disconnecting the rods and I think there were a few large springs also. If you tear it down that far you may as well check pulley bearings too!

I have a problem leveling my mower deck. I level it at the sides and front .I use the mower and it cuts uneven. mower is deck is out of alignment. less than 1 hour on it.
ANSWER : The deck could be bent, or you will probably have to level the back of the deck as well. Another thing to check is the air in the tires, this can cause an uneven cut. Although the tire may look pumped up, with the weight of a person on the tractor can cause an uneven cut.

I have a problem with a Black and Decker electric lawn mower model MM525. While cutting some high grass today, the mower slowed down, then quit and would not restart. I checked the electrical outlet and there was no power–the fuse was burned out in the switch box. I replaced it, tried again, and again it would not start or even give any response at all, but again it blew out the fuse in the box. The fuse is 25A and the mower is only 12A so that’s not an issue, besides, I’ve used this mower from that outlet for about 4 years since I first got the mower and never had any problem before. My question is: is whatever is causing the mower not to start and to blow out my fuse something that can be repaired or should be? Thanks.
ANSWER : Hello blumph,
I can think of only one or two things that are causing your problems. It could either be approx. a $14.00 switch in the handle that has shorted out, or 2 bad brushes $1.75/ea.on the armature (motor). Both are fairly simple fixes with just a screwdriver and maybe pliers. You might also check and see if the power cord has been chafed or damaged and is shorting out. I had hit a somewhat hidden stump on the lawn..bending the blade. Took the deck off and replaced the bent blade. Put the deck back on and now the cut seems uneven. It appears that the deck is now uneven. I attempted to follow the directions for a side-to-side leveling. Started with trying to measure the blade height and am struggling with getting to a spot where I can measure the blade on the left side. By looking at the deck, it appears to be uneven. I am struggling with being able to raise the left side of the deck.
ANSWER : I’ve only had luck removeing the deck, turn it upside down. Measure blade, mark, remove blade, insert large pipe over spindle, bend in direction. Re-install blade, and do it all over and over till straight. Measure in several locations.

Lawn mower cranck but wont start…
ANSWER : Since you already checked for spark and air I would drain all the fuel out of it and check that fuel for water. Over time some lawn mowers end up with contaminated fuel. You can see the water sitting on the bottom of the fuel if you let it stand for a bit in a small plastic bowl.
Be sure to empty and dry out you fuel can as well. Especially if the mower stopped running right after a refuel. Which is a good sign your gas can is contaminated too.
