There are many different reasons why a leaf blower may fail to start, including stale fuel, engine flooding, dirty air filters, faulty spark plugs, defective batteries, blown fuses, and contact issues of the power switch.
If your leaf blower does not blow air, it is possible that debris has been sucked into the blower housing, impeding the impeller from doing its job. If the impeller is loose or the blades of the impeller are damaged or broken off, it can also cause the blower to become unable to blow air.
It is usually located inside the blower compartment on the side of the blower motor. Be cautious as the housing may be hot. If the button is popped up, press it down.
Mechanical or electrical issues are the two main categories of industrial blower fan failure that can completely stop the fan. Faulty belts, loose pulleys, insufficient power, inadequate wire size, blown fuses, and other issues can occur in these areas.
Remember: If the blower motor stops working, air is not moving through the system. This means the evaporator coil might freeze up, or it could cause damage to the compressor. If your AC turns on but won`t blow cool air, shut it down until the problem can be diagnosed and repaired.
Maintenance of gas powered leaf blowers produces toxic waste like fuel filters and contaminated air filters. Blowers erode, compact and dry out soil and harm plants, microorganisms and pollinators.
Some cordless leaf blowers last for 15-20 minutes, while others can last over an hour. If you have a large yard, choose a cordless leaf blower with a long life to its battery to eliminate the need for a recharge midway through your session.

What Causes Blower Motor Failure? Like other components in your HVAC system, the blower motor can wear down over time. Some of the reasons a blower motor might fail are overheating, and excessive moisture. When dust, dirt, and debris build up, it can cause the windings and bearings to burn up more quickly.

I have a Toro 51598 electric leaf blower. Last year a breaker in the electrical box tripped and the blower naturally stopped. But, the episode seemed to have damaged the variable-air-flow-dial which on the blower – it was either on or off, nothing inbetween worked. This year, after some solid hours of operation, it just stopped working regardless of where where the variable-air-flow-dial was set. It is worth replacing that variable-air-flow-dial and some related components, or is there likely something else wrong with it? The bushings seem fine.
ANSWER : These machines are considered “disposable” items and most service centers won’t even repair them, saying that it is not “cost effective.” I have never come across a parts list for one other than maybe the plastic housing on them (they may exist), but costwise you may be better off getting another tool unless the Toro is still under warranty.

Toro 524 gas leaking out of bottom of fuel bowl,it does work but i have to pull out choke 3/4 to have power to throw snow, can i buy a carb kit or can i rebuild it
ANSWER : There is a “drain” valve on the bottom of the float/fuel bowl–it could have some debris holding it open or a bad gasket. When fuel is not fully contained in the fuel bowl, the engine will starve for fuel-thus the need to run the choke. Take the fuel bowl apart, clean the float-check for holes, and reassemble after cleaning.
