What`s happening? This is a normal function of the seat safety switch. With the blades engaged, weight from the operator allows the seat safety switch to keep the engine running.

I have a electric pto that come off a cub cadet and the part number of the pto is 5219-25 its a warner. My question is one of the wires have pulled loose in side the magnet are there any way to remove the magnet or take the pto apart? the wire is broke off inside the magnet. Thank you
ANSWER : Most likely you cannot repair this as the wire ususally breaks off inside. If you remove the assembly, you can see where the wires go into the potted coil. If there is no excess wire to reconnect to then your only choice is to replace.

Need the pto to work on a 6300 john deere tractor we have changed the fuses and changed the sencer on the back can you help
ANSWER : If you have tried a new sensor and a new switch the the next step is to replace the pto solenoid valve.If that proves fruitless then the b.c.u.needs to be replaced or bypassed.The solenoid valve will cure your problem 90% of the time.If that does not work,let me know,i can tell you how to by-pass the b.c.u..

Hard to pull starter rope. It doesn’t pull smoothly. hard to pull.
ANSWER : Take the spark plug out–does it pull smoothly now? If not, the pull cord may be the wrong size or it is damaged and/or doesn’t rewind correctly. Does the machine have a compression release? If so, it may be plugged with carbon. With the spark plug out, pull the engine through several times briskly with the throttle open and the choke off to expel any excess fuel from the crankcase. My cub cadet 2165 PTO clutch has no voltage getting to it to activate it. the normally closed switch is ok. could it be the relay? how do I test it?
ANSWER : On my cub the blades keep shutting down when im mowing . I replace the pto switch and it doesnt help .. got a recommendation
