Your regulator will have an adjustment screw that can be adjusted to increase pressure with a clockwise turn of the main screw. It`s usually a good idea to consult a plumber if you have to make a large adjustment to the water pressure coming into your home.
Light-duty hoses may have a rating of around 200 PSI. Heavier-duty garden hoses can feature ratings up to 600 PSI. A lower rating is suitable for most use around the home and yard. Typical residential water pressure is around 45 to 80 PSI.
The length of your hose can seriously affect the garden hose flow rate, as the longer the hose, the less water pressure there will be. This is because as water travels down the hose, it can lose pressure and offer far less flow rate. If you need a longer hose, then it will likely be worth having a smaller diameter.
Most low-pressure problems come from the hose itself. Check for leaks, twisting, and blockages. Fixing these issues will increase the pressure. If your hose is in good shape, then try a high-pressure nozzle or pressure booster to increase your hose`s power.
If you put your finger partway over the hose, there is less area for the water to come out, and therefore the force is greater.
• Estimating Flow Rate

Turn the faucet on and place the hose`s end in the bucket. Keep track of how much time it takes for the bucket to fill up. If it takes five minutes to fill the bucket with 5 gallons of water, then you know that the flow rate is 1 gallon per minute.

A garden hose high-pressure nozzle is designed to produce strong, high-pressure jets. The best garden hose nozzle fits most standard water hoses and even with low pounds per square inch (PSI) produces heavy water flow.

Soap feed The soap feed hose on my Karcher 2650 does not suck up the soap into the washer. I pulled off the connector piece that the hose is connected to. I can blow through the hose. There is a little metal finger thing that you can tell pushes up into place when the water pressure is high. It seems like it is supposed to drop down and allow some soap through when the water is running. I found a loose(attached to nothing) gasket, looks like a little donut. It was just free floating in there. I’m thinking it may go over the finger mechanism. I just put it back on top of the finger, like a halo and put the screw in piece back in. Anyway, if you know, let me know how all that goes together.
