It's like i'm running out of gas, then it wont crank back up without charging back up.

I’ve had just problem for 10 years. I’ve replaced batteries, solenoids, starters, use 2 chargers. Now they said adjust valves, checked that. Out alittle adjusted. Now no moving on intake pushrod. I’m tearing the engine apart to find out why. You need to adjust your valves. GOOD LUCK.

Electrolytes from the battery top can cause corrosion of the connections to the battery cables and prevent them from reaching a full charge, so the battery won`t hold a charge for long while driving along.

Sand the threads down so that the circumference is reduced with a course file or plumbers cloth, chamfer the threads a bit on the edges. A new one will do the same thing after a while so just fix the one you have.
