If you notice the sound of an air leak coming from the top it could be a leaky seal inside the nail gun. To examine the seal remove the top cap. Remove the seal and inspect it for signs of wear and damage. Replace the seal if need and install a new gasket between the nail gun housing and the top cap.
If you suspect air is leaking from the trigger, check the o-rings, and seals. When you pull the trigger it releases air driving the piston/driver assembly down on the nail forcing it into the material. If the trigger valve is leaking air it will need to be replaced in order for the nail gun to work properly.
Possible causes for a Paslode nail gun not firing are: A nail jam is stopping the nails from moving forward. The gas fuel cell is empty, out-of-date or not attached properly. The wrong type of Paslode nails are being used.
Caulk and weatherstrip doors and windows that leak air. Caulk and seal air leaks where plumbing, ducting, or electrical wiring comes through walls, floors, ceilings, and soffits over cabinets. Install foam gaskets behind outlet and switch plates on walls.
The most likely problem to occur is the seal where you place your bb gun gas canisters. You can take care of this issue with a CO2 cartridge seal replacement. The air gun cartridge deforms the seal overtime, and this causes the leak to occur.
The fuel is a mixture of 1-butene and propane. The fuel cells are designed to last for 1,000 rounds each, which makes them desirable for heavy duty projects where thousands of nails or staples are needed.
This is the battery indicator light. When you insert a fully-charged battery into the tool, you will see a blinking green light.
I use wd40 to clean mine for the last 4 years . It still works very well just oil it well after a good clean.
Paslode recommend that you clean and lubricate your nailer every 50,000 shots. If it`s being used in a dirty environment or at high nailing rates for extended periods of time then this should be more often. Cleaning your nail gun is easy and shouldn`t take any longer than 15 minutes.
Pneumatic framing nailers rely on compressed air to drive the nails, and if the air pressure is too low, the nails won`t sink properly. Make sure to check the air pressure gauge on your compressor to ensure it`s at the correct level.
Power. Pneumatics require an air compressor for power, along with an air hose to connect to the nailer. Cordless nailers offer freedom of movement, but power-intensive jobs, like framing, will increase battery use.
A leaky piston ring will need to be replaced as it will allow air to escape. This will result in the nail not sinking down deep enough in the material. To replace the piston ring, remove the top cap from the nail gun. Push up on the driver to remove the piston out of the nail gun.

Poulan Pro Chain Saw 46cc 20
ANSWER : Yes, mine does that, too. It’s seepage that gets past the oiler mechanism by gravity; not because anything is broken. The easy way to stop it is to store the saw so the gas and oil fill caps are facing down. No more seepage! Of course, you need to ensure that the fill caps are snug.
