How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :

Pull the handbrake lever on three clicks. Loosen the locknut and screw it back along the threaded part of the outer casing a few turns. Screw the adjuster nut in the same direction until some resistance is felt on the cable. Turn a wheel – it should turn only with firm hand force.
At some point in the life of your brake system, it may be necessary to adjust the parking brake for a few reasons. Parking brakes use cables to transmit lever movement, and these cables stretch through use and as they age. A properly tensioned cable is an important part of firmly engaging a parking brake.
Parking brakes are important to the safety of the driver. All manufacturers and driver educators recommend setting the parking brake when parking a vehicle. This action prevents the vehicle from rolling while not placing undue stress on the internal system of the transmission.
Once set up, hydraulic disc brakes are self-centering, meaning you don`t need to make periodic adjustments to the pads. When you pull the brake lever, the fluid will pump from the master cylinder into the brake caliper, pushing the pistons in towards the rotor.
This self-adjustment controls the length of cable that travels from the foot pedal under the dash to the equalizer bar. This is designed to keep the parking brake pedal travel the same during the entire life of the shoes. If any work is done to the parking brake at the wheels, adjustment is required.
Generally speaking, you will perform one of the following release actions: pull the foot lever above the foot pedal to release the e-brake, press the button on the hand-activated brake and press the center lever down, push the e-brake button on the car`s console, or shift the stick lever beneath the dashboard.
Parking brakes are completely mechanical and use only cables and levers to operate. When a parking brake lever is pulled (or when a parking brake pedal is pushed), these cables transmit the necessary force to keep your vehicle in place or to stop the vehicle.

How do I get the brake band ,located inside the chain cover, assembled back onto the chain saw. clutch assembly. The band brake diameter seems too small to fit around the clutch housing.
ANSWER : You need to load the brake, clamp it in a vice, be carefull not to damage the cover, if the hand gaurd is connected to the brake pull it fully back until the locks off, this may take a fair amount of force as it is compressing a large spring, if the hand guard is on the machine, remove it and use this as a tool to load the brake, the only other way is to remoce the clutch and sprocket, now refit the brake onto the saw, now pull the hand guard fully back to load the brake.
