If you`re working with a Homelite trimmer, you`ll need to get Homelite spool and line. This item, the AC41RL3, is a pre-wound spool of . 065” trimmer line that will let you complete a variety of outdoor jobs. If you need to get to work quickly, this is the kit you need.
Since weed wackers have small gas tanks, a 1 US gal (3.8 L) can should be plenty. 1 US gal (3.8 L) is also a good amount because in the US, mixing oil usually comes in small bottles measured to a 50:1 mixture for a gallon of gas.
Most styles and weights are interchangeable, so you can use non-OEM (original equipment manufacturers) line. However, larger/heavier line may not fit every string trimmer.

The gas should be 87 octane with no more than 10 percent alcohol. The oil must be formulated for two-cycle engines. Don`t use automobile motor oil because it contains noncombustible additives that will foul the engine.
Most STIHL gasoline-powered equipment runs on a 50:1 mixture of gasoline and 2-cycle engine oil.
If you put straight gas in the tank, you may get to burn half of it, or you may just get to start the engine. With no oil mix in the fuel it will take oil from the base. In no time at all that oil will be depleted, and your bearings, and rings will starve for oil.

My Homelite Mighty Lite has developed perished fuel lines. (12 months after purchase!!!!!!) Is it possible to obtain spare fuel line…. preferably attached to a new fuel tank as well. It looks like a really hard task to change only the lines.

ANSWER : The fuel lines can be purchased separately usually by the foot from any outdoor power equipment dealer. They can be easily installed by cutting one end at an angle and “feeding” it through holes. Homelite fuel lines are of a different OD than most so make sure you get the proper size. The most popular size for Homelite is OD .203 ID .04.

ANSWER : I think they are 1/8 in hoses on them and if it is a foam filter they are washable,mild soap and then a light coating of oil

ANSWER : Buy a good quality oil and mix it to the OIL manufacturers recommendation regardless of what the chainsaw manual says. If you are poking around the barn and find an old can of Homelite 2 cycle oil that says mix 25:1 mix it at that ratio.
All modern oils, chainsaws, and the EPA recommend 50:1. There has been great improvement in 2 cycle technology over the years. To rich a mix causes carbon build up on the piston that breaks loose and scores the piston and cylinder, and it stinks!

I am sorry I could not find a user manual for you either..
But as fas as fuel/oil mixture use a 50 to 1 mixture.
1 pint of 2 cycle oil to 6 gallons of gasoline

ANSWER : You have the rong fuel tank for that model.Thats the return pipe its comming from so you can drill a hole if youwant but make sure its sealed properly.
