WHEEL HORSEPOWER (WHP)

Wheel horsepower is the amount of power measured at the wheels of the vehicle. This is also called “xxx horsepower to the ground” as it is the amount of power made by the vehicle as a whole and not just the engine.

Speed varies by model, but lawn and garden tractors typically offer forward speeds up to 5 1/2 miles per hour (mph), while zero-turn mowers can have forward speeds up to 8 mph.
A key difference between a tractor and a ride-on mower is the position of the cutting blades, which on garden tractors are located at the centre of the machine. This makes them very effective for cutting large gardens or areas of open land and around wider objects like trees and bushes.
The Wheel Horse model and serial numbers can be found on the engine frame on the left side of this old tractor.
A wheelwright is a craftsman who builds or repairs wooden wheels. The word is the combination of “wheel” and the word “wright”, (which comes from the Old English word “wryhta”, meaning a worker or shaper of wood) as in shipwright and arkwright.

Lawn mower cranck but wont start…
ANSWER : Since you already checked for spark and air I would drain all the fuel out of it and check that fuel for water. Over time some lawn mowers end up with contaminated fuel. You can see the water sitting on the bottom of the fuel if you let it stand for a bit in a small plastic bowl.

Be sure to empty and dry out you fuel can as well. Especially if the mower stopped running right after a refuel. Which is a good sign your gas can is contaminated too.
