How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

The vent hole gets rid of heated gasses, so it may be broken. Flip the cap upside-down, and inspect the vent hole, which is usually in the middle of the cap on Poulan`s chainsaw. If the vent hole is broken, ripped open or clogged, the gas may leak in other areas. Replace the cap, and see if it is still leaking.
The carburetor might be clogged. A clogged carburetor is often caused by leaving fuel in the chainsaw for a long period of time. Over time, some of the ingredients in the fuel may evaporate, leaving behind a thicker, stickier substance. This sticky fuel can clog up the carburetor and cause the chainsaw engine to stall.
Replacing the fuel hose on your vehicle is going to take time and patience, and it could require getting underneath the car. It`s also going to take the right tools for the job.
With the correct fittings, factory-style quick disconnect fittings can be joined with metal lines or can replace a section of a metal line. Just replacing a section of a leaking line can get the customer back on the road, but corrosion elsewhere may cause another leak.

Try going to a local hardware store and ask them about gas routing for chainsaws. If that doesnt work then I suggest to send the chainsaw back and have them replace it.

Need a chain for 14in electric poulan chain saw the normal 14 in chain does not list the electric saw as one it will fit

If you take your saw or just the chain to a local chain saw outlet a new chain can be fabricated in a very few minutes. This will save shipping and handling fees as well. While there get the numbers mentioned above. Once you have these you can likely find a low kickback chain in a local home center the next time the chain needs replacement.

I would like to go down A bar size our two on my poulan wildthing
I have a Poulan Pro 295 20″. When I bought it I also bought a 16″bar and chain and have been using those since. They make the saw much easier to handle and are a better match to the available power.
The key dimension is from the bar’s mounting hole to its end. At the store look at the normal replacement bar for your 18″ saw, and pick out a 16″ or even 14″ bar with the same dimensions there. This can be easily seen by laying one bar over the other.
I put oil in gas and gas in the oil can it be fixed
YES IT CAN. TAKE OFF BOTH CAPS AND TURN THE SAW OVER AND EMPTY THE TANKS. GO TO AN AUTO PARTS STORE AND BUY A GOOD DEGREASER THAT YOU CAN SPRAY IN THE TANKS AND WASH CLEAN. WAIT TILL DRY AND REFILL HTE RIGFHT WAY.
Gas ratio what is the gas oil ratio when mixing fuel for my chain saw?
Most saws built within the last 30 years or so can be run with 40:1 using modern synthetic saw oils. A number of late model units run 50:1. Make sure to premix the fuel and oil before adding to the saw. Hope this helps!
Poulan 2375le chain saw. just replaced primer bulb, gas lines and diaphram. also has new gas and spark plug. will fire up but wont stay cranked especially when I mash the throttle. please help..
Check the fuel filter, air cleaner and muffler for plugging. Be sure the fuel and oil mix is thoroughly shaken just before filling the tank each time to prevent oil starvation. Set the plug gap to 0.020″ and test the spark for being blue and snappy. If weak looking, remove the left side engine cover to expose the flywheel and ignition module. Turn the flywheel so that the magnets are just under the module poles, insert a thin business card into the gaps, loosen the module screws to allow the poles to contact the magnets. Tighten the screws, turn the flywheel somewhat to remove the card, then turn the flywheel one full turn to make sure the gaps don’t close up further. Replace the cover and retest spark–if ok, try for start. Hope this helps!
