The correct mixing ratio for your Husqvarna is detailed in the warranty handbook. As a general guide, a fuel / oil ratio of 50:1 is recommended in Husqvarna products up to and including 75cc. In certain heavy use applications, models above 75cc may be run on a mix of 33:1.
The fuel and oil mixture should always be 2% (50:1). We recommend that you use Husqvarna oil mixtures.
For best results and perfomance use Husqvarna two-stroke engine oil, which is specially formulated for Husqvarna air-cooled two-stroke engines. Husqvarna offers a variety of two-stroke air-cooled engine oils to fit your needs.
If you`re using a different brand of 2-Stroke oil, you`ll need to mix at 25:1 (40mls oil per 1 litre fuel). Petrol has limited shelf life (as low as 30 days), so always mix with fresh regular unleaded purchased from a reputable large volume fuel supplier.
Most modern chainsaws, string trimmers, leaf blowers and other small-engine two-stroke equipment recommend a 50:1 oil mix ratio, but some recommend 40:1 and older two-stroke equipment might even call for 32:1.
A 100ml bottle is suitable for mixing with 5 litres of fuel to achieve a 50:1 fuel-oil ratio.
Use for lubricating moving parts, pivot points and bearings. Lubricate small to larger motors found in sewing machines, fans, lawnmowers and trimmers, drills, chainsaws, and other tools.
Use a 40:1 two-cycle oil mix ratio. One gallon of gasoline combined with 3.2 oz of two-cycle engine oil. Unsure of the age of your equipment? Use the 40:1 mixture.
This ratio indicates how much fresh, regular unleaded gasoline (containing no more than 10% ethanol) to mix with how much oil. For all Remington 2-cycle products, the ratio is 40:1. This means you`ll want to add 3.2 oz of oil to every gallon of gasoline.
Husqvarna two stroke engines are designed to run on clean, fresh, unleaded petrol. A fuel / oil ratio of 50:1 is recommended for all Husqvarna 2-stroke products.
For a 50:1 ratio of gas to oil, use 2.6 fluid ounces of oil per gallon of gas.

ANSWER : You will have to remove the cover on the side the chain bar goes into. There should be one or two nuts holding the cover on the side. The is also a chain tension adjuster you may have to loosen to put it back on. Make note of the direction of the teeth on the chain. It is an directional chain. The tension adjuster is usually a flat head screw on the front side right beside the chain bar.Unless it is a really old saw, manuals are available from most manufacturers for free download.
