Hello. Look in the local yellow pages under power washers as you may have a shop in the area that has or can get all parts. If not go on the computer to SearsDirect.com. This site is excellent and has most parts. J.

1/4-inch diameter hoses are the most commonly used for residential-use or consumer-grade pressure washers, both electric and gas-powered. The maximum psi that they can accommodate varies, so make sure to check your unit to see if it can handle your machine.
Small (1/4″) hoses are the most common. They are designed for consumer-grade electric and small gas power washers with pressure ratings up to 3,200 psi. Mid-sized (5/16”) hoses are the least common. They are rated for prosumer-grade gas pressure washers that can withstand pressures between 2,700-3,600 psi.

Some pressure washers are also brand-specific, meaning they will only work with accessories from the same manufacturer.
Whether they`re made of black rubber or stainless steel, washer hoses need to be replaced about every three to five years. If it`s been that long, or if the hoses are showing signs of wear, it can be easy to replace them if you follow these simple steps: Turn off the water supply.
We found it`s a good practice to replace washing machine hoses every three to five years whether rubber or metal. It`s also a good idea to check the hoses for damage, cracks or leaks once a year as part of your regular plumbing maintenance.

Soap feed The soap feed hose on my Karcher 2650 does not suck up the soap into the washer. I pulled off the connector piece that the hose is connected to. I can blow through the hose. There is a little metal finger thing that you can tell pushes up into place when the water pressure is high. It seems like it is supposed to drop down and allow some soap through when the water is running. I found a loose(attached to nothing) gasket, looks like a little donut. It was just free floating in there. I’m thinking it may go over the finger mechanism. I just put it back on top of the finger, like a halo and put the screw in piece back in. Anyway, if you know, let me know how all that goes together.
ANSWER : I fixed mine works good too, watch my video step by step i put it on youtubehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFXSLOBL0Mg

This is completely unnecessary. If you can tell me the model number of your pressure washer then I can assist you better in pointing you in the right direction.

I have used the McCulloch (FH180A) three times over the course of two years. On my fourth use the pressure washer just surged on and off and I would get a tiny spray from the gun each time it surged. In other words it would do nothing. Please help… very frustrated. Thanks
ANSWER : Sounds like the problem could be low input water flow or pressure. There could be crud on the intake where you hook up the garden hose, there could be some other sort of blockage. Try hooking it up to the hose and pull the trigger (with the power switched off) and wait to see if water comes out the tip. Also look at the tip(s) themselves. sometimes a piece of crud gets into the hose and then clogs the tip.

The garden hose was used to siphon water from a dirty pool. The hose was connected to the pressure washer without cleaning out the hose and turned on. After a few minutes he couldn’t get pressure from the unit. Water does flow from the hose but it wont build up pressure.
ANSWER : Hello, check the hose connection on the pump. There is generally a screen there to prevent dirt from entering the pump. Clean off this screen and all should be well.
