There is a spring attached to the throttle linkage. At the other end is an arm that the spring attaches to. Bend the arm so that the spring is tighter and it will throttle up higher under a load. Don’t go too far or you will take a chance of blowing the engine. Best to use a rpm tester and set it to factory specs.

I have a older snowblower that will not stay running. I put a new spark plug new gas and a new fuel line. It has spark and will fire for a few seconds after i spray starting fluid in it and put the plug back in. what should i do next?

Seems to start easily run for a few minutes and then slow and stop–bulb remains full –gas is good–have tried half choke in case too lean–did not solve–also seems possibly related to the angle I hold it at–seems to cut out quicker if blower tube angled more downward.
ANSWER : Your filter may be hanging up in the tank. you also my be losing compression
