How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :

The carburetor might be clogged. A clogged carburetor is most commonly caused by leaving fuel in the leaf blower for a long period of time. Over time, some of the ingredients in the fuel may evaporate, leaving behind a thicker, stickier substance.
If your carburetor is clogged, it can cause your leaf blower`s engine to die when the choke is disengaged. You can disassemble it, clean it, and replace individual parts with a carb kit. Once your carburetor has been unclogged, cleaned, and re-assembled using the carb kit, the engine should run with the choke off.
Husqvarna 570BFS vs 570BTS – The differences

There is pretty much no difference between the Husqvarna 570BTS and the Husqvarna 570BFS The main difference is that the 570BTS has a tube throttle, while the 570BFS has a hip throttle. Whether the hip-mount or the tube-mount is better is a matter of personal preference.

If the piston rings or the cylinder are worn, your blower will lose power. These parts can become damaged for many reasons, such as running your blower with an incorrect fuel ratio. The most common reason to replace this part is because the piston rings are worn.
If your leaf blower does not blow air, it is possible that debris has been sucked into the blower housing, impeding the impeller from doing its job. If the impeller is loose or the blades of the impeller are damaged or broken off, it can also cause the blower to become unable to blow air.
Check the Air Filter: The most common reason why an engine bogs out under acceleration is because the air/fuel mixture is `dirty` or inefficient. If the air filter is clogged or has a lot of dirt in it, it could be bogging down the engine. Clean the air filter and see if the problem goes away.
It sounds like this may be a sign of a faulty blower motor or bad wiring between the motor and the resistor. As you might know, these have electric motors in them that wear out over time and will begin to make squeaking or grinding noises as the bearings begin to wear out.
A choke valve/cable is designed to restrict the flow of air in the carburettor of an engine. This helps enrich the fuel-air mixture, improving the ability to start an engine in low temperature conditions.
Mechanical or electrical issues are the two main categories of industrial blower fan failure that can completely stop the fan. Faulty belts, loose pulleys, insufficient power, inadequate wire size, blown fuses, and other issues can occur in these areas.

Husqvarna 155bt Gas Backpack Leaf Blower throttle adjuster does not hold throttle down. just spins.
ANSWER : Do you mean the throttle lock? It is a basic mechanical lock. If it just spins I would assume that a chunk of plastic has broke off or the lever is misplaced. Take the throttle housing apart and identify the problem. New parts are available from your local Husqvarna dealer.
