The small Honda engines that power Dewalt pressure washers are 4 stroke and run on regular 87 octane gas. They do not take mixed gas/oil solutions.
You should check the outlet to make sure it`s working. Then, check if a fuse is blown or a circuit breaker thrown. If those both work, see if the Delay Start button or Control Lock feature has been activated. Sometimes it`s as simple as opening and closing the door to reset the washer.

The pressure washer hose will fill with water, so it is important to purge the system of excess air before starting the unit. Simply squeeze the trigger on the gun and the air will release.
Engine. Most gas pressure washers have four-stroke engines, but some have two-stroke engines. Four-stroke engines last longer, are quieter, and release fewer emissions than their two-stroke counterparts. Two-stroke engines are commonly found in smaller tools, such as gas chainsaws, and run faster than four-stroke ones.
Gas pressure washers are more powerful than most electric washers, which makes them a better fit for commercial tasks. It is common for gas power washers to have upwards of 2,000 psi, where electrical power washers have upwards of 1,300 psi.
Begin isolating the problem by hooking a water hose to the washer`s inlet and turning it on. If water flows out the outlet, you know water is cycling through. If not, chances are your inlet filter is clogged. Remove and clean it, and you should be good to go.

ANSWER : It has an electromagnetic clutch switch on it,that is more than likely bad. Try this,pull the pto switch out and start the engine,then disconnect the 2 wires coming from the switch and just tap them together and see if they will come on. If they do then you need to replace that switch.

ANSWER : You should never use starting fluid on this model.
Add a couple of ounces of 100% acetone (available at Walmart) to some fresh fuel. Attempt to start for several pulls. Let sit for several minutes and repeat until it sounds like it wants to run.

I have a Dewalt DPD3100, 2 yrs old, never had any problem, water supply hose is attached, water is going in but no water out?
ANSWER : Take the hose off the gun and see if water comes out. If so the gun has to be taken apart and cleaned. Also where the water hose goes in to the machine there is a screen filter which you might have to clean if water is not comming out on the gun side. Use a screwdriver and pry it out carefully around the edges Clean the screen with a wire brush and put it back in and try it.
