How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?
We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :
The air filter or exhaust port may be blocked. The trimmer may need lubrication and cooling fins or air passages may be blocked. A cordless trimmer`s battery or charger may be faulty.
It takes approximately 12 to 16 hours to charge a fully discharged battery. Fully charge the battery before the first mowing of the season, after every use, and before off-season storage. Failing to charge the battery after every use shortens the battery life.
The quick and easy answer is every 6 months or so. Unlike disposable razors that are made of thin and fragile materials that only withstand a few shaves, the blades of electric razors are much more solid and can last for months.
Clippers with Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd batteries will run for about one hour. Newer trimmers, on the other hand, when fully charged, will run between 20 to 40 minutes. To maximize the life of your trimmer battery, about every two months, run the trimmer completely down , and fully recharge overnight.
They typically last between 30 and 60 minutes of continuous use, and the batteries will take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours to charge up (depending on if you have a fast charger or not).
Unless your tool instructions specifically say to store the battery on the charger, be sure to remove it after charging is complete. Overcharging can damage a battery and shorten its life, and not all chargers shut off automatically.
The clutch engages the clutch pads to spin the trimmer head. If the clutch assembly is defective, the clutch will not disengage the clutch pads, and the trimmer head will continue to spin, even at low speeds. If the clutch is defective, replace it. (Note: some string trimmers do not have a clutch.
The first thing to do is to ensure that the battery is fully charged. If after charging the battery you are still experiencing the problem, then it may indicate a fault with either the battery or charger. The defective item will need to be replaced.
The trimmer line is too short to bump: If you let your string shorten while trimming until it recedes into the spool housing, it`ll get stuck, and then you`ll have to stop all of your trimming activities to open the housing and try to fix it.

Battery goes dead over night – Toro 42'' Zero Turn Lawn Mower Trailer Package Deal ()
ANSWER : First thing to do is find out if it’s the battery or the mower. Disconnect the battery and leave it overnight. If it’s dead in the morning, you need a new battery. If not, you either have a charging problem (not likely if the battery isn’t dead after using the mower) or you have a current drain.
