Fimco, Ind. warrants that any new Equipment will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year for sprayer and two (2) years for High-Flo High Performance pump (homeowner), 90 days for sprayer and pump (commercial user), after delivery of the Equipment to you (the “Warranty Period”).
The tank is equipped with a pressure relief valve for safety and to make removing the pump assembly easier after being pressurized. The hand held sprayer has a plastic compression pump that is sealed with rubber O-rings. The compression pump is hand actuated to an operating pressure of 40 PSI.
Don`t operate an air induction nozzle below 2 bar (30 psi), even if it`s rated lower in the manufacturer`s nozzle table. Most AI nozzles perform best at >4 bar (60 psi). Pressure can be used on-the-fly to make minor changes to flow rate while spraying.
Pump maintenance is needed to restore performance, reliability and ensure process performance is restored to original design criteria. Corrective Maintenance is undertaken when failure has occurred.
One issue that commonly occurs is Fimco sprayers not building pressure. If this happens, you may need to clean your filter screen (which could be clogged) or clean the check valve. There may be debris in the check valve, or it may even be damaged.
To calibrate your sprayer, you will need to find out how much water your sprayer takes to spray 100 m2 and add the label rate of the product to that quantity of water. To find out how much water your sprayer takes to spray 100m2, best to spray a 10m2 hard surface like concrete and multiply it by 10.
