For products with two-stroke engines, the petrol must be mixed with two-stroke oil. McCulloch recommends “Universal powered by McCulloch two-stroke oil”. The petrol/oil ratio must be 50:1.
Chainsaws from McCulloch are self-lubricating. Use only Universal powered by McCulloch bar and chain oil. This oil has been specially developed to retain its viscosity at the extreme temperatures generated by the chain and bar.
McCulloch chain saws operate with an automatic oil pump, which utilizes a piston to force lubrication from the tank onto the spinning bar and chain. While the pump works automatically once the clutch engages, you can regulate the overall output, increasing or decreasing the amount according to the cutting needs.
