I have found a YouTube video in which there is one leaking from the same place as mine …. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQ6lwANq3do
Is it possible to get a service manual so I can figure out how to dismantle this section and replace the necessary part whatever that might be? Possibly just an “O”ring?
Or can someone please tell me which part I need and how to do this?

How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?
We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :
The leak is caused by the filter screen in the clear adapter protruding too far into the threaded section which doesn`t allow a water tight connection on the water inlet. The fix: Make sure the clear adapter is attached to the water inlet and NOT the blue/black adapter. To confirm the clear adapter is the problem.
The leak could be due to the normal operation of the thermal release valve. The thermal release valve allows hot water to exit the pressure washer if the water temperature becomes excessively high. If the pressure washer is left running while it is not spraying water, the water in the pump will begin to heat up.
A: Pretty much everything on the Karcher is repairable.
If your power washer leaks water from the connection between the hose and inlet, the seal and possibly the coupling on the inlet are likely broken and will need to be replaced. This seal and coupling should be fairly easy to remove and replace.
In most cases, the leak will be caused by a loose or punctured drain hose, a fault with the drain pump, or a worn-out tub-to-pump hose. If it is possible to run the washer without causing further damage, removing the access panel and then running the washer will allow you to observe where the leak is coming from.
If you notice water dripping into your washer even though it`s turned off, you may have an issue with the washer inlet valve. It allows the water to flow into the tub. Check the valve on the back of the machine to find out if it`s leaking.
The hose is forming a U shape
If your garment steamers hose is forming a U shape, condensation may not be able to flow into the water tank. This will cause the base to leak. If this is the case, please re-position the hose, making sure it is straight, and lift up the head so condensation can flow back into the tank.
Gas Pressure Washer: Why does water spray out of my pressure washer`s pressure relief valve? If the pressure washer runs for more than 5 minutes when the spray wand isn`t in use, the water in the pump often overheats, causing the thermal relief valve to open and discharge hot water onto the ground.

I have had a dozen of these units, My advice is not to bother trying to get parts or fix it. Its designed to be a throw away unit!
I loaned my K2.55 to somebody else and it is now heavely leaking just above the detergent housing element. It appears to come from under the metal cover (visible after I removed the plastic housing)
I want to send you a picture. How can I send that to you?
Ed,If you can send over a picture of where this leak is at I can advise you as to how to fix the problem. See contact info below. From your description it sounds like the leak is coming from behind the head of the pump which is commonly caused by failing water seals around the pistons.Sincerely,Aron KerrLanda [email protected]

Water leaking out of bottom of washer – Karcher 2500 PSI Pressure Washer
It sounds like water was left in the pump and i froze over the winter and cracked the pump housing. You can try taking the gun hose off and blow compressed air where the hose hooks on to blow waterwater out of the pump and dry the bottom. Then put some apoxy on the crack to seal it.
