Two of the pedals on the right are the brakes. The left brake pedal stops the left rear wheel. And the right brake pedal does the same with the right side. This independent left and right wheel braking augments the steering of the tractor when only the two rear wheels are driven.
Note: hydraulic disc brakes have self-adjusting brake pads that ensure consistent lever pull so there are no adjustment dials on hydraulic calipers.

How do I get the brake band ,located inside the chain cover, assembled back onto the chain saw. clutch assembly. The band brake diameter seems too small to fit around the clutch housing.
ANSWER : You need to load the brake, clamp it in a vice, be carefull not to damage the cover, if the hand gaurd is connected to the brake pull it fully back until the locks off, this may take a fair amount of force as it is compressing a large spring, if the hand guard is on the machine, remove it and use this as a tool to load the brake, the only other way is to remoce the clutch and sprocket, now refit the brake onto the saw, now pull the hand guard fully back to load the brake.
Parking brake wont release on a 310e back hoe, replaced the parking brake switch and that was no help
ANSWER : Sounds like the whole stop brake system is seized up. Lot of wd40 and elbow grease should do it.Good luck.
Brake issue. I can lock in the brake pedal, start, release the brake and run the tractor. But very soon, the brake pedal vibrates and makes lots of noise. I checked spring and is engaged. Dont know what else to look and fix. Any idea?

Husky 435 chain brake is stuck in “locked” position with clutch cover off. How do I release the brake, so the cover will fit over the flywheel?
ANSWER : Hi, grab the cover in a vise in the same place the bar nuts tighten up to. Then pull the chainbrake lever back towards where the handle bar would normally be until it clicks and locks back. This will require a bit of force. Then refit the cover as normal. Hope this helps, regards Phil.

Can’t get the housing to align after replacing the chain
ANSWER : This is usually caused by not releasing the chain brake before removing the cover. If the brake band mechanism is in the cover, then it must be released by turning the coupling that connects with the brake handle mechanism. Hope this helps!
