Poulan 14″ gas leaks bar oil all over, plenty on bar/chain, using thin synthetic oil.
ANSWER : Use actual bar oil sold for that purpose. It’s thicker and won’t run out like water. Synthetic oil is very thin does not have the proper density.

Gas ratio what is the gas oil ratio when mixing fuel for my chain saw?
ANSWER : Most saws built within the last 30 years or so can be run with 40:1 using modern synthetic saw oils. A number of late model units run 50:1. Make sure to premix the fuel and oil before adding to the saw. Hope this helps!
