A power level of 1 hp in submersible water pumps is approximately equivalent to 746 watts (W) or 0.746 kilowatts (kW).
1 HP Electric Motor, Voltage: 220 – 240 V, IP Rating: IP55 at Rs 3600 in Coimbatore.
To calculate the Cable Sizing one needs to divide the voltage running through the cable by the target current. For instance, If your wire has a voltage current of 150 Volts and your target is 30 then you divide 150/30.
How Many Amps Does a 1 HP Well Pump Use? An average size pump rated 1HP will use approximately 8.13 amps on a 120-volt system and 8.87 amps connected to a 110-volt circuit. And like before, the amperage draw is lower at 240 volts with just 4.06 amps.
The 1 HP pump operates from depths up to 325 Ft. providing up to a 12 GPM performance. This premium grade pump provides you with long-term peace of mind. Instructions and a quick-start guide are included for your convenience to ensure easy installation and operation for this Zoeller submersible well pump.
A 25 amp circuit breaker means the pump is 1 HP or smaller and will use ~9 amps/1400 watts during operation.
Specifications power rating: 1 HP; head: 3 to 32 meters; capacity: 3100 to 500 LPH.
V-Two 35 Mtr 1 HP Water Pump, Max Flow Rate: 60 Lpm, Electric.
(insert photo) 1 HP equals 750 Watts. However, the pump will typically draw 20-50% or more power than just that calculation based on real life usage, efficiency and power factor.
It can take upto 3500 watts load.
The wire to a motor must be rated to carry 25% more amperage than the motor draws when operating at full load. This amperage rating is listed on most motors. As stated earlier, it may be necessary to increase the wire by several sizes to compensate for voltage drop caused by excessive distances of the feeder run.
