Hi,this mower is very effective and good value for money,but it’s problems are somehow not too complicated,the potential problems asssociated with this mower are;
1.Not starting at the first pull,maybe 2nd or 3rd pull.
2.its extremely heavy for a mower.
The good thing about this mower is its durability,lasts for at least 7yrs or more before giving problems.

Thanks and good luck

A new lawn battery should last between three and five years. In order to achieve that, however, it`s important to perform regular maintenance. Here are a few tips to help you get the longest life possible out of your battery.
Knowing you can expect your residential lawn mower to last you around 450-500 hours is helpful in the decision-making process. The closer you are to the end of the expected lifespan, the more you should consider replacing it if a large issue occurs.
Push mowers are naturally lighter than self-propelled models, so they`re easier to maneuver, especially when they`re turned off. As a result, moving them from garage or shed to lawn (and back again) requires less of an effort. Likewise, a battery-powered push mower will be lighter than a gas-powered mower.

On average, you can expect a heavy-duty riding mower to have a 5-year to an 8-year lifespan for residential use. For professional-grade mowers that see heavy commercial use, that lifespan is between 4 years and 5 years. The closer your mower is to those milestones, the more strongly you need to consider replacing it.
For two-cycle equipment manufactured after 2002:

Use a 40:1 two-cycle oil mix ratio. One gallon of gasoline combined with 3.2 oz of two-cycle engine oil.

You can expect to get anywhere from six to ten years out of your riding mower, or longer with proper care and maintenance. Like most machines, riding lawn mower life varies depending on a number of factors including terrain, maintenance and upkeep, number of hours used, and more.
How Long Do Self-Propelled Lawn Mowers Last? A self-propelled mower should last eight years or more, depending on how often it`s used. (Most manufacturers rate their mowers for a set number of service hours.) There`s no significant difference in the service life of a self-propelled mower versus a standard push model.
If the area isn`t crazy overgrown, it`s very possible to use your lawn mower. A zero-turn riding mower is the easiest, but you can even cut tall grass with a push mower.

I have a Lawn Boy 10685. Changed the blade and went to start the mower and the pull cord will not pull. I tried spinning the blade by hand with no luck. I took the starter apart and it spins fine. I check the brake cord and it looks fine. Any other suggestions?
