The easy way is to unplg the wires from the switch,remove the plastic ends of the wires and wire the two wires together, then tape with electrical tape and that will work for bypassing the seat switch

ANSWER : Here we go on the positive(red) lead on the battery there is an in-line fuse you can either follow it from the battery to the starter or from the starter to the battery. The other causes may be that the PTO is not fully disengaged, or the seat safety switch is not working( which you can bypass by taping them together). Hope This Helped Tim

ANSWER : Tilt the seat up and forward. Find the two wire cable going to the seat switch and cut it. Bare the ends of the wires, twist them together and put a wire nut on the splice. Lower seat and go. Apologize to all the folks, including yourself, who lose their toes!

mostly not getting fuel past the carb into the engine. If it does not turn over
then it could be the switch or solenoid but it could also be a problem in your
wiring system or a safety switch which is interrupting the ignition.

ANSWER : The switch connects directly to the coil body of the ignition module. You may have to remove the left side cover to expose the ignition module. The switch, when off, connects this wire to engine ground. There may be debris in the contacts of the switch that prevent contact. You will have to remove the air cleaner assembly and maybe the carburetor itself to access the switch. Good luck!
