How to change oil and where i put the oil in to the lawn mower mtd 3.5hp / 20
ANSWER : Warm up the engine so the oil will flow out. Push the handle to the ground and either have someone stand on it or wedge it underneath something to hold it down. Disconnect spark plug!! Remove blade. Place a drain pan underneath mower (one that’s shallow enough to lower the mower down on) and using a 3/8 extension on a ratchet, stick the square end of the extension in the drain plug in the bottom of the engine and unscrew. Lower mower back down for a couple of minutes then reverse proceedure. I think it holds about 20 oz. of oil. Put in 18 oz. and check it. Be sure not to overfill.

Dont know what type of oil to use – Toro Power Lawn Mower
ANSWER : Put straight 30 weight motor oil in it. Not 10W30 or any multi-viscosity oil. Straight 30 weight motor oil. If you’re doing a complete oil change, then you may want to use Synthetic 30 weight, which will last longer between oil changes and also make your engine last longer (but it costs more too).
