I have a fimco pump on a 25 gallon sprayer. It is a 2.1 gallon per min. pump. I took it out yesterday to use and it would not pump up, no pressure. Worked fine last year. I checked and the motor is running. Any suggestions as to what to try. Thanks I have a fimco pump for a 25 gallon sprayer, worked fine last year and now won’t pump. I took it apart and everything looks good? The motor runs fine, just wont pump. It did for a little this morning and then quit?

ANSWER : Open up the pump, take out the check valve. wash in dish soap/hot water solution, scrub with old toothbrush, rinse off, reinstall & see if that makes a difference…

Pump has no pressure

ANSWER : Scrub up the check valve within the pump really well, that should help restore the prime! use dish soap and a toothbrush!

I have a Fimco pump model 5274517 the end were the switch is broken from ice i need to get a new pump .Can i replace only the pump or the pump and motor

How do you refill?

ANSWER : Remove all pressure by keeping the hose open until no pressure is left. place pump handle down toward tank. Turn count counter clock wise to unscrew. Take assembly out of tank then fill tank. Reinstall in reverse order.

Fimco 15 gal sprayer has lost prime

ANSWER : There is an o-ring inside that is probably bad. I tore my pump apart and found it and repaired it. My sprayer was about two years old as well.

Sprayer looses pressure pump issue ?

ANSWER : You can take the intake part of the pump apart and clean/lube the diaphragm of the pump. If you didn’t clean it out last time it was used there will be residual or cake built up. Make sure the down snorkel is clear and doesn’t have any contamination in the tube. Check the screen/filter also.

Sump pump hums and then kicks breaker. Will not pump. I cleaned everything, still have problem

ANSWER : Pump motor is jammed causing overload and resulting breaker trip. Try to turn the pump shaft by hand, it should be very easy to turn. If there’s any resistance check for blockage.
