How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

You may need to rebuild or replace the pump assembly. If the pump is more than a few years old, and you use the pressure washer fairly often, replace the pump assembly. If the pump is relatively new, and you don`t use the pressure washer often, either rebuild the pump assembly or replace the pump seals.
The number one cause of low or no pressure when using a pressure washer is a blocked or worn nozzle. Blocked nozzles will prevent water from escaping, while a worn nozzle will allow too much water to pass through, causing the pressure to drop.
PLEASE NOTE: You should always press the RESET button on the GFCI before using the pressure washer.
How Do I Tell If My Unloader Valve is Bad? In most occurrences, the first symptom of an unloader valve going bad is no pressure from the wand when the trigger is pressed. This happens when the unloader valve gets stuck open and does not allow water to enter the hose and trigger.
You could have a faulty lid or water level switch, or your hot and cold water supplies could be turned off or have kinks in the hoses. A clogged water inlet screen or a malfunctioning electronic control could also be the reason a washer isn`t filling with water.
The force behind that pressure comes from a water pump driven by a fuel-powered engine, an electric motor, or pneumatic (air) pressure. Once the pressure washer is started, water enters the pump and is forced through a high-pressure hose that leads to a spray gun.
If the machine is pulsing whilst in use, it may be that the accessory you are using has a blockage. Clear by soaking the accessory in warm soapy water and then rinsing out under the tap.
A pressure washer requires water to cool and lubricate the pump, which is the part responsible for pushing water from the supply hose to the nozzle. Without water to cool and lubricate it, the pump will work harder than it should, causing it to wear down quickly.

Soap feed The soap feed hose on my Karcher 2650 does not suck up the soap into the washer. I pulled off the connector piece that the hose is connected to. I can blow through the hose. There is a little metal finger thing that you can tell pushes up into place when the water pressure is high. It seems like it is supposed to drop down and allow some soap through when the water is running. I found a loose(attached to nothing) gasket, looks like a little donut. It was just free floating in there. I’m thinking it may go over the finger mechanism. I just put it back on top of the finger, like a halo and put the screw in piece back in. Anyway, if you know, let me know how all that goes together.
ANSWER : I fixed mine works good too, watch my video step by step i put it on youtubehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFXSLOBL0Mg

I have a K3.68m. I hook up the water turn, on the unit, the hose pressurizes but when I pull the trigger nothing happens. This unit is only about a year old and only used twice. It did the same thing intermittently before. The trigger has a different feel like a switch is not actuating or something when it does this. Please advise. Reg
ANSWER : Sounds to me like you have a partially blocked jet on the end os the lance. If this is not clear then the machine will not start correctly.

No pressure Pump reassembly. I purchased a new pump and installed it. Got machine back together and I’m not getting any pressure. What would be the signs if I don’t have the shaft key in properly? Or any other suggestions?
Water comes out of nozzle with pressure for a quick second then no pressure, just water. This is a brand new pump so was curious if I installed it wrong. Wondering before taking it apart again.

Since I have heard that Stucco should not be pressure washed at greater than 800 psi, how should I use my non-adjustable 1500 psi Karcher Washer for this job?
ANSWER : You can keep a greater distance from the stucco in order to not have the full contact pressure on the surface. Then if it is not doing a good job move closer to the surface. Another option is to buy a vario lance for your model.

Why dose my Karcher K2.35 keep blowing the gun hose off?
ANSWER : There is a good chance you are missing the black plastic clip that holds the hose into the trigger gun. If you look at where the hose goes into the gun there should be a flat slot where a black plastic clip would slide in and keep the hose into the trigger gun.
