Pull the handbrake lever on three clicks. Loosen the locknut and screw it back along the threaded part of the outer casing a few turns. Screw the adjuster nut in the same direction until some resistance is felt on the cable. Turn a wheel – it should turn only with firm hand force.
Models that use bull gears to drive the axles usually have brake housings located on the sides of the transmission and final drive case. Tractors that utilize a pinion shaft and ring gear in combination with a spider gear set typically have the brakes located on the drive axles or in the wheel hubs.
Vehicle-based brake controller installation
Most electric brake controllers consist of the main unit, often hidden under the dash, and a user interface unit installed on the dash within the driver`s reach. Both units should be mounted inside the vehicle with screws or other secure fitting methods to avoid any movement.
Disc Brakes: A caliper with hydraulic fluid squeezes to friction pads against the disc to slow the wheel. Drum Brakes: A piston with hydraulic fluid forces friction shoe pads outward against the drum walls. Air Brakes: Can be drum, disc or a combination, with air pressure providing the power instead of hydraulic fluid.
Most mechanical e-brakes are activated using thin steel cables that run from your e-brake handle, down to your brake mechanism. Over time, these cables develop slack and need to be re-adjusted. This is as simple as removing your center console or e-brake boot and locating the steel cables.
At some point in the life of your brake system, it may be necessary to adjust the parking brake for a few reasons. Parking brakes use cables to transmit lever movement, and these cables stretch through use and as they age. A properly tensioned cable is an important part of firmly engaging a parking brake.
Parking brakes don`t require much maintenance. In fact, the best way to maintain your emergency brake is to use it! Each time the brake is engaged, it automatically adjusts. Keep in mind though, that while they do adjust automatically, they do require occasional cleaning.

Install a new selenoid & I hook up the battery, And the tractor want to start??? I think the wireing is hook up Okay. Don
ANSWER : Hey don,
The key switch supplies power to the coil, it has nothing to do with the cranking circit. When you press the start button it supplies power to the solinoid, that in turn activates the starter motor. You can crank the engine even if you dont have power to the coil. Which is what I think you have happening. On the coil it has two small wire under two small nuts with a big wire in the middle going to the distributor. The two small wires are marked with a + and -, The + side should have 12v with the key turned on and 0v with it in the off position. The – Negitive side goes to the points. Check the points for burned, stuck, worn out lob on cam, if you have no spark. If you have spark, you need to address the fuel, Try spraying carburetor cleaner ( not either) into the carburetor to see if it fires then quits, this proves you have a fuel issue.
Make sure your battery is fully charged, and that the ground is a good one.
Hope this helps
