The cables appear fine and the pulleys and drive belts all seem OK but the drive wheel from the engine isn’t rotating. Does anyone have any ideas ? Does anyone know here I can get hold of a copy of the Atco service manual for this lawnmower ? many thanks, Ed

Loose, Dirty or Disconnected Spark Plug in Your Lawn Mower: Check it out, clean off debris, re-connect and tighten. Dirty Air Filter: Clean or replace. Fuel Not Reaching the Engine: Tap the side of the carburetor to help the flow of gas. If this doesn`t work, you might need a new fuel filter.
Most rotary push mowers are powered by internal combustion engines. Such engines are usually four-stroke engines, used for their greater torque and cleaner combustion (although a number of older models used two-stroke engines), running on gasoline (petrol) or other liquid fuels.
Most lawn mowers are powered by four-cylinder engines, but some walk-behind lawn mowers use two-cylinder engines. Four-cylinder engines are typically more efficient and eco-friendly, compared to two-cylinder engines.
Engines used in lawn mower applications usually have the model numbers stamped directly into the blower housing, muffler heat shield, or a few inches above the spark plug, as well as the fuel tank and the base of the engine block.
